It’s National Butterscotch Pudding day – and since I’m a #DailyPowerSmoothie guy I figured I’d share a butterscotch smoothie recipe for all my butterscotch fans out there. I know you’ll enjoy this one. Side note – this smoothie is great for post-workout. I usually have a smoothie around 10AM-11AM (about 16 hours after my last meal the day before). INGREDIENTS
- 1 scoop vanilla whey protein
- 1 cup vanilla unsweetened almond milk
- 2 Tablespoons Butterscotch syrup
- 1 Tablespoon Macha Root powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: 1 banana
DIRECTIONS:
- Combine all ingredients in blender
- BLEND
- Serve with non-fat whip cream and a little drizzle of butterscotch syrup
- ENJOY!
